The road to success is strewn with obstacles and failures. Unless a man is persistent, he will be overcome with discouragement and soon abandon efforts. In every project, there will always come a time when problems become so big and the barriers loom so high that it is only the enthusiasm and the boundless confidence in ultimate success that keeps a man going.

Updates....

**Written on Saturday last week.

I shifted for the nth time while lying sprawled on my bed. I have to be up. Quick. Each ticking of the clock reminds me of the day’s responsibility to attend to. Who cares if it’s a Saturday? I really have to be up and start to get moving. This is the life I choose. To fill every idle time I have with anything to work at. I hate feeling the depression again. The one that makes me feel that my whole life had been sad after all. Thus, this feat on keeping things hard on myself. Err… keeping myself busy rather.

The sporadic laughter emanating from a flat in a nearby building pulls me off from a daytime stupor. Such is the spirit of the Pinoys. Only our race can have the guts to engage in a shrieking one-inch distance conversation, be oblivious of the stares of other’ lahis’ from their own rooms and plainly get away with it.

Wooppss! My phone’s ringing. Someone to remind, I’m sure. I refuse to get up though.

Ah life! Such a drone it could get.

Nah. I ain’t busy now. I was just attacked by this intense force of laziness. Ho-hum. I wish I have dash’ power to run quick.

Some side story I got from a felicitation soiree I attended last Sunday. Sometimes we’re too preoccupied with our own troubles that we tend to forget how the big people struggle much for theirs. The party, by the way, is in honor of the leaving acting president. During his speech, only then had I learned that he reports to office at 5:30! Yeah, you’re not reading it wrongly. He really comes to office at 5:30 in the morning.

Whoa! And I thought I found the most emulating person in Joe Kennedy when I read that he butts it out 14 straight hours to work his way up the ladder.

---------------------

I can be pretty goofy sometimes but I thought I’d never be more like it until the incident last Tuesday! Uhm…. Story next time.

---------------------

Be leaving for Chiang Mai tomorrow. See you tuesday, guys.
